    Itinerary

    Day 1

    Mcleod ganj

This day, you will be transcended to the world of tranquility. Soak in the fresh air, take rest in your picturesque rooms and freshen up. After having your breakfast, we will drive down to Gyuto Karmapa Temple in lower Dharamsala. This temple is a must see.  The moment you enter it seems like you have stepped into another world. The architecture is overwhelming, especially the statue of Lord Buddha. After sometime we will head towards Norbulingka Institute; a great place to explore Tibetan culture and art. The main attraction being the Namgyal monastery. Today we will be focusing on basics of camera and photography. For food lovers, Norling cafe is a must - gorge on scrumptious Tibetan food. While coming back, take a stroll to the main square market and have a fun-filled, chilled out evening at one of the cafes of Mcleod ganj. Here we will end our day staying for two nights at the guest house/cottage.

    Day 2

    Mcleod ganj

Start your day a bit early, and it's time to get the real essence of Mcleod ganj- Its markets, Monasteries and much more! Namgyal Monastery, Dharamshala, is the home of the Dalai Lama and also the largest Tibetan temple outside Tibet. The Dalai Lama Temple Complex is a beautiful and peaceful place located in Upper Dharamshala, decorated with the colourful prayer flags. Even those who are not particularly inclined towards religion, will be fascinated by the serene ambience all around the campus and the imposing figures of Buddha. We will spend a couple of hours exploring and clicking different perspectives that this place has to offer. Meandering through the lanes of Mcleod ganj, after sometime, we will make our way towards BhagsuNag waterfall and the Shiva Cafe. Later we will return to the guest house/cottage.

    Day 3

    Triund

Freshen up and get ready to pump up your adrenaline. We will start our trek meandering through beautiful forests. The uphill will allow you to have a panoramic view of the picturesque landscape. First time trekkers would take about 4-5 hours (with snack and photo breaks) on this uphill trek to hit the camps. On the trek we will stop at little cafes and learn to create landscapes that’d make this journey even more memorable! Our aim is to reach Triund before sunset, as the sight is surely going to take your breath away. It is one of the best sunsets that you are going to see in your lifetime. The Peaks are so close to you it seems like as if one can touch the snow-swept mountains. This night we will be camping under the cover of stars. The night ends when we are out of stories!

    Day 4

    Return journey

This day we will be on a roll, climbing downhill, always fun. We will reach Chopra House. Freshen up and take some rest, end with some photography discussions. After that we will go and explore the local market. Later, it will be time to bid adieu with a promise to meet again.
